Moto is back with another hit after the grand success of G5 and now they have launched the Moto C. The new Moto C devices now become the most affordable Moto smartphones replacing the Moto E devices. While the company announced the both the 3G and 4G variants of the Moto C, they launched only the 4G variant in India. It is priced at just Rs. 5,999 and comes in Pearl White and Starry Black color options. Unlike the earlier launched Moto devices, the new Moto C will be sold via offline stores.
Talking about the specifications, the device sports 5-inch display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It includes 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. This dual SIM device comes with separate Micro SIM slots.
On the camera front, there is a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 2MP fixed focus selfie camera. Both the cameras come accompanied with LED flash for capturing photos even in low light conditions. With all these less powerful specifications. the 2,350mAh removable battery on the Moto C should easily give a day long usage. It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with minor tweaks to the stock Android UI. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. There is no fingerprint sensor on this device, and it features three capacitive navigation buttons beneath the display.
It measures 145.5 x 73.6 x 9 mm and weighs 154 grams. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. Both the earphone and charging port are on the top edge.
