Nova Launcher 5.2, Brings Android O Style Notification Dots To Everyone

Nova Launcher has remained default launcher of millions of android users over past few years only because of its features. And with its most recent stable release, version number 5.2, that list grew once again with several new additions.

Its biggest feature – Android O-style notification badges – should be enough to satisfy those clamoring for latest Android version's release. In essence, it displays a dot in a user-chosen corner of an app's icon to remind users they have an unread notification.

The other new big feature here is a new, round search bar style, which follows the overall move towards round shapes in Android iconography. But apart from that, the only other additions are performance improvements and some stability fixes for Android O.

The latest stable version of Nova Launcher is available for download to everyone in the Play Store right now, via the link below.

OnePlus 5 Leaks Out In first Official Image

OnePlus 5 features a horizontal dual-camera setup, which OnePlus previously teased. Additionally, the device will come in a nice shade of black, similar to OnePlus 3T. The OnePus 5 appears to feature nice curved edges for improved ergonomics. Aside from that, it’s difficult to tell if the design will differ drastically compared to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. It doesn’t appear the device will feature an edge-to-edge display, something we saw from the LG G6 and Galaxy S8. We already know the OnePlus 5 will come with a Snapdragon 835 processor but other internal specs are unknown. OnePlus also confirmed it worked with DxO to ensure its camera is the best it can be. At this point, we pretty much know all there is to know about the OnePlus 5, including, it seems, the final design. OnePlus will officially unveil the OnePlus 5 on June 20. Source: Technobuffalo
